Recently got an upgrade to one of my powder horns, so moving this one along. Bison/buffalo horn, left in a somewhat rustic form. The neck has been shaped and filed smooth but the body of the horn is largely left natural. Measures 11-inches along the outside curve, and 3 inch diameter across the butt. Like many bison horns, this thing is very large and could probably carry a full pound of powder (although I never carried more than 1/3 pound of 2F in it.)
Includes a wool woven strap that I intended to attach some leather tabs and ties and use to carry the horn. The strap is 38 inches long with ends that are tied off.
