Just a hype-reminder about the French Broad Rifles annual Fall Primitive Shoot. October 7,8 and 9. This is an annual 3 day event featuring a 20 station woods walk, Ham on a rope shoot, Critter gitter meat shoot, fire starting, tomahawk and knife throw, novelty shoot, Seneca run, Big cheese, Deer hunter and more. On site camping and Saturday night chili dinner. Oh, and did I mention that beautiful .50 cal Isaac Haines Rifle being raffled off? Jim Chambers parts with a Rice Barrel. Assembled by premier gun Maker Bob Ray, with carving by David Abernathy and metal work done by Kelly Pittman, all club members.
We are located in a beautiful mountain cove just north of Asheville NC, great time to visit Asheville, a top tourist destination in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

It is not too late to make plans to come join us October 7,8,9. Looks like the hurricane rain is going through this area this weekend. The long range forecast for the event looks great at 70 degrees daytime temps and sunny-partly cloudy.
Also if interested in purchasing tickets on our raffle you can PM me for information.
