My wife is the queen of puns, so I'm toughened to them. 
And I agree. I shoot my share of percussion long guns and pistols, C&B revolvers, BP cartridges, and I'm planning to start loading BP in shot shells just for the heck of it. But the flintlocks hold my heart with their looks, history, and the little extra care they require to learn.
