I am considering purchasing this book, looking for information regarding trade guns - specifically trade pistols. Does anyone who has this book know if it covers archaeological finds related to pistols or other info for trade pistols? Thanks!

Yes. Get a copy, you won't be disappointed. By far the best book on fur trade firearms to date.

Rod

Rod L hit the nail on the head. Buy it, you will have THE most comprehensive book on those firearms we love and hold so near and dear to our hearts.

I know it's a big chunk of change but it's truly worth every penny and more.
