The cheap slut olive oil has less water in it than the virgin olive oil. Save the virgin for eating ,and low temperature cooking. :idunno:

Use what works for you. GoJo hand cleaner works well for me.

out of all the lubes i've used the mink oil works the best so far, but i've only tried 5 or 6.
Although I haven't used it, I think I've got just the thing for a super patch lube.
Especially, you folks up there in Vermont or who live in a dairy States like Wisconsin should be trying this stuff.
What is it?
Bag Balm.
It ought to be good for your hands and good for your shooting.
I predict that anyone who uses it for serious target shooting will have no problem beating all of the udder shooters.

Hoppes #9 Plus BP Lube; it's the best I've found. But when hunting, the first load of the day is lubed with Natural Lube 1000.
Spit, and I never forget to bring it with me. :rotf:
Before I switched to the dutch dry lube I was (and still am) a huge fan of Hoppes #9+. Can shoot all day as it swabs with each load. Almost as good as drypatch

I used to use t/c bore butter but lately I've been using a mixture of olive oil and beeswax. To be honest, I can't say that either has proven more accurate, at least with me behind the trigger.
