I'm finding this all very interesting as I'm trying to decide what replacement barrel/caliber/twist/length to buy for a complete stock (minus the barrel!) that I just purchased. I've always been led to believe that you can't shoot prb out of a fast twist barrel with accuracy. I'm leaning towards a faster twist after reading this for the increased ballistics of the conical for hunting and the economy of the prb/powder with a .45cal fast twist barrel
