By the way: dinner tonight is lamb stew, but it definitely isn't Irish. It has cocoanut milk, jalapenos, onions, garlic, radishes along with the potatoes, Thai red curry and lots of cilantro...

Does anyone know what size drill and tap to use for the screws that come with the Johnson peep sight?
Get a thread gauge and tap&drill chart. I would think any machine shop would have both. They are cheap and worth there weight in gold.

With the thread gage and drill and tap chart, a screw gage chart is very handy also, telling you the different screw diameters.

Troy..........Hard to believe , but I have to put one of those Johnson peep sights on the rifle I'm currently building. It's good to see you have done a nice job on the gun , and the sight.
I too have needed a kid to dress me , but I can't find one I can pry away from the I-Phones. I guess a lifetime of knowledge is worthless to youngsters , these days. What's embarrassing ,is when I have to get a 14 yr. old neighbor girl to fix my laptop when it gets cranky. ..............oldwood
