This is a Big Bore Mtn rifle? No patch box? More pictures please but 1980-82 is my guess.

Yes, it is a big bore Mtn rifle.

There are subtleties in the barrel markings that are diagnostic for people that know these. I have a 1981 I built up from a kit-it looks like yours in that the pipes are round, not octagonal. Serial 008916 in .54. PD
Sn on mine I is 000941, that and the info in the other picture are the only markings of anykind on the rifle. It is a good shooter.
