So I decided to get out the chronograph and checked out 3 different loads in my Lyman GPR .54 cal. The first load is my small game load 35gr 3f Goex came out to 900 fps. Next was my deer load 75gr 3f Goex is came out at 1350 fps. and finally my max anti tank load with 100gr 3f Goex. It came out to 1650 fps. All at about 8 ft. from the muzzle
Attached are some pictures of my spent patches, my small game load and my deer load all from a makeshift bench.Patches.JPG 35gr 30yds 5 shots.JPG 75gr 30yds 3 shots.JPG

B’rang, thanks for your post. I’ve been wondering about a load to use for small game. Something about 1000FPS.

In support of your data gathering I have clocked my 32” Green Mountain barrel and got 1818 FPS with 110 grains of GOEX ffg.
Your patchs look good enough to use again.

Your results are pretty much what's to be expected. I've only ever owned and still own just one .54 with a 33" barrel. With 60 grains of Goex 3F I get 1225 fps. This is my target and all around load plus it will take deer. With 110 grains it gives 1730 fps.
