Thank you for the follow up.
I can certainly understand not changing where the front sight aligns at different distances, as it is far easier to always shoot it one way you are sure about. I've never had any luck with changing where I put my front sight, but wondered if it might be different with a pointed bead.
Sounds like you use what is called "Point Blank Shooting" where within the distance you shoot at something, the rise or drop of the ball is within the killing circle?
