Thought I found ya a prospect on gunbroker, complete gun, bid is only at 75 bucks. Shoot, at that price buy it for the fore-end & have all the extra parts you'd ever need. But then I read the rest of the ad & the rascal wants 100 bucks for shipping.

Ebay had one up for sale last week. Guy was selling the front stock and back stock separately.

The other option is to make a half-stock out of it
On a CVA Kentucky rifle that would still require a fore-end.
I took the post to mean recreate the forearm piece out of another piece of wood?? Thats what my first thought was as well.
