How does brass react with different topcoats?,,,specifically tung oil vs. polyurethane. have a project I'm working on with a scroll saw and plan on using brass sheet for part of it . Would like for the brass to stay shiny as long as possible,,,also wondering whats the best glue to glue brass down to wood,,prefer for it to be clear.,,,also have a .50 cal kentucky kit that I need to get around to plan on doing some inlays on it,,,but need to get this scrollsaw project out of way first,,,but since both of them are same subject, thought I'd ask. Thank you kindly.
