What load was you using in your CVA Double Barrel,to kill your Turkey??
I'm using 1 1/4oz. Shot,was using equal volum Powder,but cut back to tighten my pattern.Plus I was using thick Felt Wad over my Over Powder Card,quit that because it seemed to be blowing my pattern.
The load I'm using I kill Squirrels real well,so I know it will kill a Turkey.I just an't got confidence in the Modified Barrels.Just have to bring the Birds in very close.
This last Fall Season I just gave it up because I wasn't seeing that many Turkeys,went to using my Inline,killed a Bird out 60 yards with it last Spring.Oh well I still didn't get a Bird this Fall,first year ever. :cry:
