Graf & Sons, though they are terribly backlogged right now and out of all but Goex 1F, Cannon, and Swiss 4f and Null B. They are also not currently taking backorders.

edit: Also Schuetzen 1f and reenactor powders are in stock.
Graff and sons has a 4lb minimum last two times I ordered

Does anyone know of a muzzleloading shop in Central or Eastern Kentucky? I had rather shop local than mail order everything.

To answer the original question, yes but be prepared to pay hazmat shipping. There are sources that don't have the "shortage" problems that brick and mortar big boxes are having. You should have supported the little guys before this started.

If I could afford it I'd go ahead and order a case of BP and shoot the h___, well, you know, out of it!

Lots of us in the North South Skirmish Association stock up when at Nationals. I usually get 15-20lbs and it holds me for about 6 months of active competition. With the plague screwing with the schedule, it goes quite a bit further. Guys posting whining about powder should have been thinking ahead a bit when the panic hit the passing fad side of shooting. Support your local little guy or he'll go away.

https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog/product/productId/5447You can buy a single 1lb can, but taking advantage of the shipping and hazmat fees, bulk is the way to go.
If you need one pound, you will need five pounds eventually. Why not order the five and spread the haz-mat fee around. Or better yet, ten pounds.
BP is going to get hard to come by soon, and you will regret not buying a case or more when you had the chance at the current prices, availability, and could have it shipped to your door.
Think lifetime supply if you can afford it. Sell a gun or two if necessary to raise the cash.

Grafs notice on powder orders is 20-26 days to ship and most grades are
out of stock. To conserve my BP I picked up some Pyrodex to use this month
til all returns to norm. There used to be a bunch of little powder houses- did the
internet wipe em out?

You are going to be waiting a long time.
The current situation is The New Normal.

Agreed.
How could anyone not have seen this coming, and fail to start stocking up at least 3 to 5 years ago?

Being the "Rocky Mountain Fur Trade" is such a huge part of muzzleloading you would think it would be easier to come by in MT, WY, CO and ID. But it is not. Most all folks around here who use it HAVE TO HAVE it shipped in via internet sales. Been that way for a long long time.

I'm not a heavy shooter and the pandemic has kept me off the local county range for about six months but I'm pretty well stockpiled for BP, Pyrodex and caps. During the down time I've learned how to safely mix common household ingredients in the proper proportions to supplement my BP supply. Making my own was on my list for a few years and I had the opportunity so I took it. That along with casting my own round balls gives me a little bit of a cushion and independence if the drought continues for longer than last time.

Who said I didn't. I only purchased local til they quit carrying it due to the regs and expense.

I wish there were local places around me to by BP and supplies. Years back there were. Pretty much any gun store around had real BP. Now I have to order it. The last time it was with a few others I shoot with which is fine.
BTW... I’m in south East Louisiana if anyone happens to know of a place that I’ve over looked. But it seems I’d have to drive three or four states away to buy from a local guy. What’s aggravating is Goex is made here in central Louisiana and I’d gladly drive there... but they don’t sell to anyone except dealers or if they are at an event. 😬

Ahhhnnnnd why are you asking this? You ask permission for anything else?
Because I bought a case a few years ago but have two homes and curious to know if it is legal to purchase another case for my other home. I just don’t remember what the legality of it is..........greg
