So I got the Bison dialed in yesterday so that I could consistently hit 6" steel at 40 yrds. super happy with it. oiled it with baristol and put the real cleaning off for this evening. after the soap and hot water scrub I took it out in the shop and hit it really good with the air compressor before the final oiling with baristol. put her back together and whipped her up into what was supposed to a be a sight picture. Instead, there is a big gaping slot where that really thin adjustable rear blade used to be. I have never been very stoked on this rear sight. The workings seemed flimsy. Turns out that they are. If I do fix the original sight it will be up for sale to someone who does not shoot thousands of rounds. The prefered option will be to have a real gunsmith install a real adjustable rear sight. I don't know if there is enough meat in the top strap to mill to accept a Wichita or similar sight?
