I have 3, 50 caliber Muzzleloaders and they are all one in 48 twist. I year ago I acquired a 45 with a one in 60 twist. It seems to be more accurate with less fussing around over patches and such, is it feasible to bore a 50 out to a 54 And what do think that it would cost, and is it feasible in a Lyman flintlock? How about a traditions percussion? Both rifles are a Hawkins Design.
