This is early Bacon cap and ball revolver.
As for this particular revolver all parts are matching, it's stamped 599 on the barrel, trigger and frame (under left grip)
Plunger is missing, cylinder doesn't rotate, hammer operates properly and locks in 2 position (safe and fire), trigger spring would have to be replaced.
All in all very interesting winter project at affordable $395 Shipped
