Does anyone shoot at Friendship and shoot the "as issued" event? If you do is the Ruger Old Army allowed? The Ruger Old Army that I am talking about is the one with the fixed sights that is like the Remmy 1858.

I was told the Ruger OA is not allowed with fixed sights, by 2 Master Shooters in Phoenix.

Send a note to Friendship and get the definitive answer for sure. That is the best bet for sure.

Thanks, that is the answer that I am getting on my side also. I was hoping that I was wrong because the Ruger fits so well in my hands like a colt but has the advantages of the remmington.
