Attempting to de-sporter a French 1859 musket I got for fairly cheap. Missing sights and bayonet lug. Figured I could use enfield sights since they look similar, not really any thing else new I could use. For the bayonet lug I couldn't find anything and was thinking I could have a new one made based off of measurements. Not sure if it's the same as the chaspot's lug, both look similar but if somone could send me the dimentions from one of these let me know.
