Antique Howdah pistol?

Bought it as a "Howdah Pistol." The tiger hunters from an elephant shoot a lion or tiger but don't kill it and it can jump into the Howdah and do nasty things to the Mahout and/or the hunters. Directions say not to shoot the Mahout accidently. I would doubt you would not practice with this pistol with full loads unless you are facing a ****** off big cat!

Guessing it is about 12ga (17.8) and I can see it is rifled (?)

Any info appreciated.

I feel like our pistols came from the same maker just by looking at the hand grip wood work.. you found anything out yet?
