Finished this Cherry SMR in .45 cal today. Nothing notable about it except it has my homemade, taller rear sight installed. This rifle will eventually go to my 2nd grandson, but I’ll enjoy using it until he gets older. Now both grandsons will have .45 SMRs.

Not at all, I posted photos of my oldest granddaughter shooting her Traditions .50 cal percussion last fall. She loads it and shoots it well. She’ll deer hunt this year.
Yep I was missing something. Good for the both of you, she might cut in line on the boys when your not looking. Hope she does well on her deer hunt , looking foward to pics.
