Had a great time with my family on my son's first "family" vacation to Ft. Frederick.
If you weren't there for their Market Fair, it was a good time...some good weather, some not so good! Lots of great people!

Sounds like you had fun. If I ever make it back to that neck of the woods, I would sure like to attend. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a good time. The people you meet is what really makes these events a good time.

I have a lot of good memories of Ft. Frederick back in the early 80's when we did the Military Field Days. F & I, Rev War and Civil War, all rolled into one big weekend. And lots of sutlers. Good times.

Very nice setup. Even with two or three and use the second tent as an equipment area. The nice thing about that setup is that with one stove, piped out the back of the awning, you can heat both tents on those cold and cool nights. You over lap the awning about a foot over each wedge and with the both awnings down and laying flush on the tents and flaps partly or wholely open, you can heat both tents and even a ground bedded crasher on an overnight stay. That is a VERY useful setup. Nice job with it.
