Has anyone tried Alliant Black MZ Black Powder Substitute in their rifles. Looking at trying some. 777 is very accurate in my rifle but you have to use wet patch, dry patch before you can seat another ball. Thanks

”¦ but you have to use wet patch, dry patch before you can seat another ball.

Why? I don't!
But I don't use T7 anymore because it costs more than Pyrodex and does no better.
Some say T7 cleans easier but the fact of the matter is, you still have to clean it!
Not tried your Alliant Black MZ. But I am pretty settled on GOEX and Pyrodex, so I doubt I change anything.

When I use wonder lube/bore butter I find I can load and continue to shoot until I finish for the day without wiping. This is true for Goex and Triple Seven. So try another lube and see if that helps.
