got a break in the weather, made it to the range for the first outing of my .55 chunk gun. load was 85gr. 3f goex, a .550 ball and a .015 prelubed patch. from the bench at 50 yds the first 3 shots went in the same hole. fourth shot opened up the group about 1/4 inch. fifth shot opened up the 2nd finger on my left hand. I forgot about the vented drum and managed to burn/blow apart the tip of my finger. also blew a hole in a nice glove. thank God for the glove. guess i'll have to change my hold shooting from the bench. i'll never forget again that it has a vented drum! accuracy looks very promising, glad i went back to goex. looking forward to the next time out.
