My dad just gave me an older Traditions .32 rifle. I've tried some searches, but haven't found much info on loading.

After reading a builders site that said that #1 buck would work well as PRB, and I'm wondering if anyone has tried it. #1 is .300, so it seems to me that it would need .020 patching at least. Is this a good idea for cheap bullets or is .310 RB better.

Any other experience would also be greatly appreciated.

Seems like .300 would be awful small. Mine shoots a .310 with pillow ticking OK, but it shoots a .315 better. I guess it would depend on you barrel.
Hornady sells the swaged .315's in a 100 pack, and Tip Curtis Frontier Shop has swaged .315's in a 100 pack too. I forget the brand.
Hope that helps.

I have a .311 double Lee Mould. I use it for my two 32's. CVA squirrel and Blue Ridge. 20grs 3ff and pillow ticking. Kills groundhogs graveyard dead. Squirrels too. Dilly

Buy some 0 buck. It is .320 and works well. The most bang for your buck. No pun intended. :rotf:
