I have for sale a Dixie Gun Works iron mounted Poorboy style 50 cal. Percussion rifle. It appears to be unfired. The barrel is marked "made in Japan". The stock was a few dents and dings but no blemishes that can't be sanded out. This would make a great hunting acctrement. Asking $750 but will negotiate or trade. Update:
The rifle was made by Miroku in Japan. It has a Japanese cherry stock. Dixie Gun Works called it a Tennessee Mountain rifle, it was sold in .32 an .50 caliber and made in lefthand and right hand. They advertised a flintlock conversion for both rifles
