Track of the Wolf has the .562 ball, as do several others.

I use a pre-lubed .010 patch and 70 grains of 2F. Seems to shoot well!

Of course each gun is different and so on ... Some experimentation will be required, but that is what makes it fun.

I went out today with my 24ga. I used spit patches of ? cotton bed sheet(it works and with 2 sheets + my age, I'll never run out) and 60 gr of 3f and .562 ball. I also used a column of: powder - 1/2 cushion wad - ball - other 1/2 wad. At 40 yd offhand they all went into a 11" paper plate w/ a center aim spot. I need more practice and maybe different loads, but this was a good start. Bill in Oregon - shooting in the fog!

I also have a 24ga flint pistol which i used today. I used the same combos only w/ 30 gr 3f. At 25 yd the shots were 18" high! Needs a little work !!. Bill
