Looking to part ways with my custom made 1792 Contract Rifle, this one was made by the very talented Hendrie at Kashtuk Bow and Gun.
I have fired it exactly, twice.
This piece is very fine and its as nice as they come, I chose to go with a 54 cal rifled barrel and is barrel length is 42" its stocked in a very beautiful dark cherry wood instead of the standard maple. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this piece, shoots strait and has a very fast lock. But as I am more of a living historian and pinker at the range rifles are not really my thing, I'm more of a smooth bore guy through and through. I'm looking to move this to jump on something else that just popped up. I figure someone may be able to appreciate this much more on the range or on on a hunt than collecting dust in my musket rack. Couple of small nicks from handling otherwise as good as new.
