    Seem I won't be getting my order from Chambers until after the new year. In that order is a can of their stock finish. Is there any reason why I shouldn't apply the stains and wait for the finish other than having to wait to see the stock pop when the oil is applied?

    Local auction house has an Alfred Peterman .62 cal smoothie flintlock that appears to be unfired by the looks of the flash hole and pan pictures. The gun looks mint.     Abby Normal Trigger?

    Got my Bear Pistol put back together after a barrel reline from Mr. Hoyt. It has a single trigger and the trigger releases the hammer from half cock. Something tells me this is abby normal. Any thoughts on how to address this situation?

    My New Patch Knife
