    CLOSED Traditions Buckskinner Carbine.

I'm looking for a Buckskinner Carbine in 50 caliber. Would prefer flintlock, but will also consider percussion if anyone has one. I know the 50 came with a 1:20 twist for heavy conical bullets, so that's what I'm primarily looking for. Not sure if they made them in any other twist rates, but I'm...

    Help identifying this Traditions rifle

Saw this on GunBroker. Ad says it's a 45 caliber Traditions rifle with a 33 inch barrel. Never seen anything like this from Traditions. Anyone know what it is?

    Investarm breech plugs

Also posted this in the percussion section. Both rifles are Investarm rifles, the flintlock is a Lyman Great Plains Rifle and the percussion is a Cabela's .58 caliber Hawken. I'm thinking about swapping out the percussion breech plug on one rifle for the flintlock breech plug on another. The...

    Investarm breech plug

I'm thinking about swapping out the percussion breech plug on one rifle for the flintlock breech plug on another. The flintlock is .50 caliber and the percussion is .58 caliber. The outside dimensions are the same. Does anyone know if the breech plugs are the same size for the different caliber...

    Screw on ramrod tip

Edit to add photos. Does anyone know where to buy ramrod tips that will screw on to the end of wooden ramrods? I have one that I took off a plastic ramrod and put on a wooden one, but I can't find anyone online selling them. Everything I see is the traditional style that must be pinned or glued.

CLOSED 58 caliber Investarms rifle or barrel.

I'm looking for an Investarms 58 caliber rifle with the 15/16 barrel. I really just need the barrel to build a project gun. Of course, if anyone knows where else I can get a 15/16 58 caliber barrel I'd love to know.

    New Custom Build

I just finished a new rifle and wanted to show it off.😁 It was built for me "in the white" so I could do the final finishing. I think it turned out pretty well.

    Stain for straight grain maple.

I'm finishing up a rifle that I had built for me. The stock is a nice straight grain maple and I want to stain it so that it brings out the grain in the wood. I don't want it to be too dark, but not blonde either. What would be a good stain for this wood?

.64 or .65 caliber Round Balls

I'm looking at buying a Jaeger rifle with a very odd (to me) bore size. The seller says the bore diameter is .648. If I'm going to use .015 to .018 patches, that leaves me looking for a .62 or .63 bullet. Is there anyone out there that makes a ball in that size range or am I looking at having to...

    WANTED CVA Mountain Rifle Stock

Looking for a stock for a CVA Mountain Rifle. Needs to have a 1 inch barrel channel for a .58 caliber barrel. Let me know what you have. Thank you.

    Wood filler

I have a stock that someone tried to inlet a CVA Hawken patch box into in a very bad way. I want to fill in the area and refinish the stock. Is there anything (wood filler) that wouldn't be glaring obvious that might blend in with the wood? I know it won't be perfect, but I'm trying to figure...

Can anyone please identify this rifle?

I saw this rifle on GunBroker and thought it looked really interesting. The barrel and lock were marked Dixie Gun Works.

    Traditions Pennsylvania Rifle Value

I need some advice on a rifle I'm thinking about buying. I found an older Traditions Pennsylvania percussion rifle in decent condition. It's one of the earlier ones with the 40 inch barrel and a really nice one piece stock with lots of brass inlays. Barrel is marked "Ardesa Spain 50 caliber...
