I'm looking at buying a Jaeger rifle with a very odd (to me) bore size. The seller says the bore diameter is .648. If I'm going to use .015 to .018 patches, that leaves me looking for a .62 or .63 bullet. Is there anyone out there that makes a ball in that size range or am I looking at having to get a custom mold? What other ball/patch combination would work with this?

Track of the wolf sells a .626 ball. Would pobably work with a .018 or .02 patch. I know because I was looking at that gun myself and was looking to see if anybody sold roundballs for that size.

Yeah, I saw those. Wasn't sure about them.
They are the only ones I've seen that might work. As long as the rifling isn't too deep, with a .02 patch, I think you'd be alright. Track also has a .648 ball, but if bore measure is true, probably wouldn't work but if it was more like .65 then that would also be a possibility with a thin patch like .010.
