    Identity and loads

Anyone have an idea of who built this. Also wondering what should be used for loads. Says 12 mm but the barrel only measures about .40 not .47

    Finally

Finally got my 36 cal the other day. Want to shoot it. Only problem is it won’t set the caps off. Have to hit them 3 or 4 times. Already made sure the hammer is hitting them properly. Almost think the nipple is a little too big.

    1861 Enfield Musketoon accuracy problem.

Trying to get my muzzleloaders sighted in. This is a Parker Hale Enfield Musketoon. The problem is that it consistently shoots 4 to 6 inches or more to the left at 50 yards. Parker hale 1861 Enfield

Picked up a Parker Hale 1861 Enfield that has never been fired. That will change however. From what I can find out they were designed for conical bullets. All I have and all the guy I got it from had are balls to shoot from it. Would like to know how it will do with those. Will be ordering some...

1850 Robbins & Lawrence Windsor VT

Recently purchased an 1850 Robbins and Lawrence Windsor VT in 58 Cal. Not sure if everything is "right" about this gun. It seems to be a smoothbore but my research says it should be rifled. As well it doesn't have a rear sight and there is no spot for one and there should be. Any info about this...

    New member from Manitoba Canada

Greetings from the Great White North. I am new to traditional muzzleloaders although I have been interested in them for years. A couple of recent purchases have caused me to look for other people interested in the same thing. I have only used modern muzzleloaders but I think these new ones I...
