    Make sure you use the powder rit dye. Heat in a pot and add a couple tablespoons of vinegar to help set the dye.

    I guess hiding stitches isn't really what I wanted to do. I wanted to hide the raw edge of the two pieces of leather at the top. But I think I'm going to leave it like it is and see how I like that look first.

    Most of the stiches are on the inside of the bag now. But the way the front flap is sewed on, the stiches can be seen and I would like to cover them up maybe. I have not totally made my mind up what I want to do.

    How bad do I need a thermometer. I have always used the plugin style with the heat element under the pot so I couldn't adjust the temp. My wife bought me a new lee 20# bottom pour pot. And now I can set the casting temp.

    I'm still trying to get my .32 to group at 100 yards. Why because I'm hard headed and my head doesn't hurt from beating it on the brick wall yet. You will pull your hair out trying to figure out a load that will work.

    I honestly can't tell the difference in how dirty it is compared to GOEX. It's black powder I think patch lube has as much to do with how dirty the barrel gets as the powder you use.
