Hi Dave, this is a really good site. Very informative too.
I'm also in N.E.England (Durham City) and I do American Fur Trade living history as well as other stuff.
I'd be interested in hearing more about BP and how you get round the U.K.legislation as I want to get myself a muzzleloader sooner rather than later.

Anyway, welcome to the forum.

Eric

Hi Dave; a most cordial welcome to you. I would be interested in hearing about the hoops you must jump through over there. Also any photos you may have of your guns, shooting, etc. Regards, Emery

There's no get round necessary. Just comply with the legislation, get yourself a muzzle loader and enjoy. More information from the Muzzle Loaders Association of Great Britain.

Hi Dave and welcome. Spent some time in and around "The Big Smoke", Bedford, Luton and Bolton. Also fell in love with Wales (my first stop in the U.K.)Yep, muzzleloading is addictive but then so is the very European sport of air guns. I enjoy them both. Glad to have you here.
Crooked eye.
