Welcome, Mike!
Would you have any idea how good or bad the VA medical is there in western NC, or do you have Veteran friends you might ask? Contemplating a move to rural, western NC. Pretty good here in central Ohio - MUCH better than in eastern OK!
Hello Codger;
I am a member of Sons of the American Legion and VFW auxiliary and I know and speak to Veterans regularly. Although I am not a vet myself and have never used the VA. We have a small VA clinic in the town I live in, the only one West of the Main VA hospital in Asheville. The locals like to go here and only go to Asheville when necessary. And probably like any area it's split on what people think about the service they have had with the VA, depending on their experience. Thanks for the warm welcome to all.
