Well does anyone know if Mr Hoyt is still taking work? Been trying to call for the last 3 days multiple times and no answer?
Thanks

Boys it's starting to look like the Price is Right...early morning, around 8:00, 7:30, so I'll be that guy and spilt the difference with 7:45.

Come on down, we'll make your bore bigger no matter octagon or round!!!

I just hope you talk to him with a little more respect on the phone than you appear to talk about him here.

He's a busy man, he's getting up there in years, he as far as I know works by himself in a small shop, and he is a master at what he does for the muzzleloading community without charging crazy high prices.

Working around HIS time frame isn't a lot to ask......

I have talked to him on the phone. He is a good man, talked to several shop owners over the years. I was just joking about all the different times folks were saying to call him. Figured one person saying before 8am would be enough, but apparently not. There are enough prunes in the world, lighten up.

I don't know you from jack chit mr. jokester, but your rudeness so far is more than telling.

Flatter yourself to think you rate high enough to tell me "lighten up".......

I've been to his shop (more than once)and if you don't get HIM before the machines start you must leave a message . HE IS A MASTER CRAFTSMAN , and a fine person he will give you an honest opinion, a great barrel at more than fair price. He is very busy but will always make time for you when he catches up with his work load.

And the urination contest continues into the new year………
A jerk comment regarding a highly respected craftsman got called out.

Nothing less, nothing more.

There's no "contest", unless you're making a play for one.......
