@boker, what patch material and how thick? That shallow T/C rifling seems to work best with thick patching of 0.018 to 0.020 that is not prelubricated. Lubricate the patch just prior to loading.

I'd hate to be reading a thread on how to repair a cracked stock.
I am using pre cut T/C pillow ticking patches and T/C pre cut 100% cotton patches. also bought pillow ticking from the fabric store.

Shot .440 and .445 balls with 2f and 3f goex as well as 3f pyrodex P powder.

Think y’all convinced me to go shoot some patched rd balls again tomorrow!
