Went to the range today and tested the pistol. Shot fine. I put the other nipple in that has a small burr in it and it was hard to work again. I couldnt see where it was catching but as soon as the other nipple was back on it work fine. So the bottom line is I learned a lesson check nipple threads. Maybe clean the threads better also. Not sure why it happened but I will work to not have it happen again. That faulty nipple is on it way to a local landfill to live out the rest of it's days. Thanks for the help.

glad things worked out … nipples are, after all, considered expendable parts - they wear out and are replaced, like spark plugs or bagpipe reeds … some wear out sooner than others... were these the original nipples?

They were the original. I rotate my nipples every time I shoot not sure why I do it was just a habit I got into. I usually keep everything in there own containers but the last time I used those nipples I was at the cabin and I put them in a different place. So I'm thinking that the nipple that give me problem wasn't cleaned properly and I put it where it was in contact with other metal objects that could have damaged the threads.

All these guns are a fully assembled kit and need tuning. Check Duelist1954 for some good kitchen table improvements. Get a set of gun smith screwdrivers this is important gun screws have a different shape slot and a Wallyworld screwdriver will ruin them. Then it is off to VTI for an expensive set of replacement screws.
Sometime when I have time I will comment on the then and now of these guns.
