The lock looks great. I might have left it shiney!
Tempted. But, my plan is still to emulate one of those on the rack; particularly like #2:

Got the lock parts smoothed out last night:

Applied Jax Black and was going to rub back to a worn patina look, but I like the way it looks as-is and I'm going to run in like this and let it develop it's own patina:

Thats nice, polished smooth but not extremely high shine. I love it, i do not like brass polished to a high shine. I always darken mine like the Jax Black.
