I looking to purchase some pure soft lead in small tiny pieces to hand cast balls. I've done a little bit of research on this and found what I wanted on track of the wolf labeled "Pure Soft Lead,
for hand casting round balls.
Over 10 pounds per box,
convenient small pieces". Unfortunately this item is on back order and I'm not sure how long it would take if I ordered it from here. I'm not looking to go all out into casting my own bullets just yet. I'm thinking of just getting a little bit along with a small leather pouch/bag to carry this with me along with my ladle. Does anyone know of a website or shop I could purchase this or a place to purchase the carrying bag as well? I'd like to purchase from a muzzleloading store to help out the community instead of buying from Amazon or some other place. Any suggestions or advice on this is much appreciated. I'm new to all this and doing lots of research lately on a little bit of everything muzzleloading shooting. I currently own a 1851 36 but will be looking to get a rifle soon. Not sure of what caliber I want yet. Saw a video of a guy walking thru woods and stops and cast a couple lead balls with his shot pouch and ladle and I thought..that's pretty cool, I want that in my muzzleloading everyday carry.
