I was in the Navy '91-'98 and Army '02-'11 here, so I guess that's pretty much the same as being in the Marines. Welcome aboard.

I've found that Marine vets love that joke. NOT!

Hello everybody! Wishing you all well.

I am a veteran of the Marine Corps (51 years ago). Also, I am interested in learning about the muzzleloading world.

I am about to purchase my first muzzleloader, so I will probably ask a lot of questions, be patient, please.

I am sure that I will enjoy talking with You,

Jarhead

Cobra 6
That chain gun on the snake a muzzleloader? Hey, I remember doing a live fire exorsize in Tex in the 70s with Cobras being the real star of the show "standing on columns of fire" although the Airforce did an encindiary drop from a Phantom fast mover that was the finale! I was one of four guys in two parapet foxholes shooting down below. Best time of my life!

U.S.M.C. Uncle Sams Misguided Children, my speciality was drinking too much beer, not always cold. Over the years learned to appreciate good single malt scotch. Also learned quickly in life that I wasnt the biggest and baddest guy on two feet. God even has mercy on idiots. Dont know where you are from but now that you are here, sit down and stay awhile. Some of the best folks in the world, wealth of knowledge and wisdom. They have been answering same questions and new ones for years. They love to see and help someone get addicted to the "Holy Black" powder.
