I have what appears to be a large Siler Flintlock. It matches the general outline, but the only mark on it is on the inside of the lockplate-A letter"D" in a circle. Anybody?

and at the bottom of the page it shows Davis made Siler Locks as no longer available. Mine must be from when they did make them. I didn't know that Davis made this lock.
I'm sure it's a Davis as per above, but you can't discount the fact that many builders modify existing store-bought lock shapes to conform to the builds they are doing too.
