Really like this rifle
Is price negotiable?
I do living history at The Alamo andam looking for another rifle
What do you think shipping might be
Lots of questions and wants but retired on limited income

Jake, I get a deposit of $100. on a shipping crate that is refundable with it's return, I will cover the cost of shipping to you.

Not trying to overdue it
Can you tell me why you’re selling it and if you have shot it
Also a little more about the rifle - like who made it, barrel twist, overall length, etc.
Thank you for your patience and understanding it’s a difficult decision to spend this kind of money but I’ve narrowed it down to 2 rifles

I have fired it at the range to sight it in. The barrel is a Rice Jaeger barrel, round bottom rifling, I'll have to measure it (it's out in the shop) I built it with the plan of selling it, copying the carving from an original I have in my collection (pictured below)jaeger tang.jpg jaeger cheek rear detail.jpg

Jake, The barrel has a 1/66 twist and is 31" long with a 13 1/2 length of pull making the overall length 47". The second from the top shows the Jaeger in comparison.

What does it weigh in at? I'm interested. I would like to see a few close-ups of the lock down the barrel to the muzzle and down the muzzle with a bore light in it if you don't mind.
I didn't realize you were in NEPA, so am ; maybe I can come take a look at it?

If you can swing it- come by and shoot it!
I don't have the capacity to take pics down the barrel. It is a new Rice barrel that has had 10 rounds thru it, to proof fire and sight in.
Where are you?

The lock is a Chambers Jaeger lock with blind screws so the lock plate is not pierced by the three screws around the tumbler

I tried to get a Jaeger kit in the white from TVA but they discontinued it, they wanted $1275.00 based on their estimate (not including tax and shipping).

I'm in Brackney/ Friendsville (just off 267)
