Aren't those cool? They are actually pretty typical for cherry cut in Iowa and Illinois.
 
Gah, I hate draw filing! It's got to be the worstest part of buildin a gun. Takes me a minute to open my hand and straighten out my fingers after a session. :(

Looks like the outside of an engine block, with a rock stuck on it.

Seriously, looks pretty darned good. Did you do something else to it after you hit it with the wire wheel? Bill
 
I went over it with Brownells OXPHO-Blue creme and after letting it sit for a while, then I steel wooled it back some. Then oiled it up. :thumbsup:
