    Good Source For Range Rod?

I got mine from Muzzleloader Builder's Supply. There are very friendly and the rod is well made. I'm not sure if they are listed on the web site, but if you call them they will help you. http://muzzleloaderbuilderssupply.com/

    Hard Rifle Case

Jim Chambers sells them. They are very well made. They may be more than you are looking for but they are worth the money.

    Belt Pouch

T.C. Albert's book is a great step by step guide with several patterns that you can use as well. I have made a few from his book and they have turned out pretty good. I still have a long way to go but his book is great for any beginner. I also saw that Ken Scott has a double DVD (Recreating a...

    Making Moccasins

I would be interested in a center seam pattern. I attempted to make a pair a couple of years ago and it came out less than desired.

    Shooting Bag

If you are making one yourself. T.C. Albert's book is a great deal of help. I made it the exact size for the first one. I copied the templates and made the size 122% on the copier for the others I have made. This made it easier to get my hand into.

    Southern Mountain Rifle

    Travel storage

Try 2nd amendment products, they sell airline approved aluminum cases. I have heard Jim Chambers sells one too, but you would have to call them to verify. It's not listed on their web site. If you are looking for a soft case I think the log cabin sells them.

    .36 kit rifles

I know you said you aren't interested in spending more than $600.00 and I understand. You may want to take a look at the kits from Jim Kibler. They are more ($950.00 plus $30-60 for shipping in the U.S.)but it is an easy kit for beginners(from what I have read) as well as very high quality...

Shooting the Early Lancaster County Flintlock Rifle

Nice rifle and nice shooting. I hope your shoulder continues to heal. Shooting is just as good if not better than physical therapy  . Jeremiah

    One of my latest Horns

I like it as is. I agree that too much distressing does not look good. I think that the scrimshaw really shows on this horn. I did not know that many of the old horns were dyed by the makers. I always thought that horns tended to get the yellowish patina over time. Either way, I always enjoy...

    Video- A cure for cap

I have found that a little pinch to the cap before putting it on the nipple works. You can even use an in-line capper, when using this method.

    Kibler kit gun complete

O.K. thanks. I think I just need to get my other projects done so I can justify spending the money on another one. Maybe I should order a kit so I have some extra motivation to get them done. It sounds like I could get one done in less than 2 weeks.

    Kibler kit gun complete

That looks great. I really like the finish. So how long did the actual build take minus the staining and finishing of the metal parts? I have been debating on whether or not to jump into building one of these kits. I have only watched a couple of CVA kits being built but I think I could do one...

    First Fintlock Turkey!!

That's a nice looking turkey. I like your thinking about the record books. It's the enjoyment of being in the woods and getting to hunt. So where did you get your fowler? I "need" one so I can turkey hunt.
