Hello all.

Looking to take my collection in a different direction, and opening up some room in the closet. Offering for sale this very nice Curly Maple 62 cal smoothbore fowler. Set into a curly maple stock (stock is gorgeous) is a Colerain 44" octagon to round barrel, with a wedding ring transition. Lock is R.E. Davis and it is a fast one at that. 90 grains of FF Bare ball over powder with some tow wadding and FFF in the pan and its pretty much dead on at 50 yards, and I know it could do better if I weren't holding it back. It is a great gun and served me well plinking and in reenacting, but It's time to move onto other things. I'm looking for $1850 shipped, USPS MO, Bank or Personal check!

Little video of it, screen grabbed from my instagram so the quality isn't great, but you get the idea.

Great vid but you still need a still photo of the gun with a card showing your screen name and the date the photo was made.

Alright must have missed that. I'll get one added when I get home from work.

Sorry fellahs, had a busy week at work!

Weight is 7.5
LOP is 13.5
Nice light trigger
Don't know the maker I believe I'm the second owner and the first guy couldn't remember, but it does appear to be put together quite well.

Does it have a cheek rest? I'm a lefty and while I long ago got accustomed to shooting a right-handed lock, I refuse to own a gun with a cheek rest on the "wrong" side for me. This also gives you a chance to post a photo with your name/date on it.
Thanks,
John
