I just got in one of these and it's fun to shoot so far. I'd like some loading data for a .509 RB and some shot loads too please?
I was going to start with a shot load of 230 grns of #5 shot over 35 grns of 3F. That's a .45 Long Colt shell full of this size shot.
The load I've shot so far is 6 .24 cal Buck shot over 25 grns of 3F which seems really light to shoot.
Thanks for any help and suggestions for this pistol!

My admittedly limited experience with shot loads from pistols has shown very poor penetration. I wouldn't use them on anything much larger than a sparrow and the pattern won't be dense enough to reliably hit a sparrow much past five paces.
