:hmm: I dont think this was directed at me :grin: ,but none the less I will try to answer for you. Were you asking about Packdog's left handed E. TN? You can buy that patch box and literally just use it on the a Left handed gun. Other times you may have to make them like these that my father made.

well its inlet and soldered, sort of a cut out on the first two.
 
Most of the patchboxes I've seen are symmetrical, that is, there is no real difference between the top and the bottom.
Even if there is a difference with the two parts which sit adjacent to the door, they can be installed in a mirrored fashion to keep the "top" piece on top.
