Anybody got an extra set of wedges for a CVA Mountain Rifle or that would measure theirs so I can order the right size from Track of the Wolf?

Look at the TOW part # Key-CVA-I ; the title says for their shotgun, but the description includes the Mountain Rifle. I just measured one of my Mountain Rifle wedges and the measurements match with the TOW part being just slightly longer as designed to be shortened to individual fit.

Deer Creek Products has a huge inventory of CVA parts.
    So does Ebay.
    Happy hunting.

Ps, i just checked out Deer Creek's site... they have NOS wedges for the mountain rifle.
I've bought from them several times... no complaints.

Yeah,...uh,...NO! Deer Creek is the reason I have this problem. My Mountain Rifle stock and the wedges were both kinda ratty so, when I found a replacement stock I also saw Deer Creek had wedges advertised so I let the old wedges go when I sold the stock & ordered new ones from Deer Creek.

Don’t know what in the world these things ‘sposed to fit but, I could bevel the edges and use them to split fence rails.

Get some flat stock and make your own. Nice little project to do.

I think most aftermarket parts are sold 'proud ' so as to fit more makes/models.
If they are too big I'm not sure what to say other than get a file and custom fit it. You won't find many that are an exact fit.

Most wedges are not interchangeable , They have to be hand fitted. Ones can be purchased to have the pattern needed, but making one just requires flat steel or brass and a torch to put the nail head upset on one end and a good file to shape the desired taper. First time might be a little shoddy, but if you don't mess it up a time or two, you aren't doing anything.
