Stumbled across this 2022 movie on Roku the other night while the wife was snoozing. Excellent film including quite a bit of his exploits with Christopher Gist. If you saw the Gist episode of into the wild frontier, the same actor, Tim Perez Ross, played Gist in this movie. Very well worth watching.

I thought it was excellent. Good production values, historically accurate, and spot on with clothing/accoutrements.

Me too. When it comes on it says volume 1 on the screen. Then the way it ended suggested more to come.

Just started watching it first inaccurately is the scene of him and his father with the watch, the watch is about 100 years too early no watches of that time period had second sweeps and the movement is too small. Most people would not have noticed but I collect old watches.
